HORSHAM’s Remii Luciani is making her mark and putting the often overlooked sport of kart racing on the map.
The former St Brigid’s College student is currently in her graduate year at the JMC Academy in Melbourne, transformed the City of Melbourne Titles and driver profiles into a live action tv show.
“It’s such a big sport and it’s the first stepping stone into motor sports. It’s not really something spoke about much"
“Everyone filming was impressed young kids of 5 or 7 years old were going nearly 100 kilometers an hour.
“I’ve been blown away feedback since the trailer was released.”
Miss Luciani is the daughter of Remo Luciani, a seven-time Australian karting champion. She said the TV show was almost complete with dvds to be released soon.
For her next project she hopes to focus on children in karting.
